WMRAC Benevolent Fund

In the early days of the WMRAC ‘The Doghouse Owner’s Club’ committee proposed to support at least two worthwhile charitable causes, along with raising funds for the Club’s own Benevolent Fund.

The WMRAC Benevolent Fund was established to help wives and girlfriends repair their shattered lives in the event of a tragedy, through financial and moral support.  It helped anyone connected to motor racing, whose circumstances had altered through accident or illness.

The Benevolent Fund no longer exists today but fundraising for charity remains the Club’s main objective.
