The Doghouse Owners’ Club has donated £8,000 to purchase a specialist chair for the Burns Unit at Queen Victoria Hospital, in loving memory of Peter Procter. This chair will greatly enhance the comfort and care provided to patients undergoing treatment.
In 1996 Peter was treated at the QVH Burns Unit, following an accident at Goodwood, in which his saloon car somersaulted several times then burst into flames, causing 3rd degree burns to most of his body. Peter, who sadly passed away in August 2024, was a much loved figure in the motorsport community, dedicated his life to helping others, and we are honored to carry on his legacy through this meaningful contribution.
