Whilst the Doghouse Owners’ Club will not be exhibiting at this year’s Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, a number of members are planning to visit the NEC over the course of the weekend.
Events such as these provide a wonderful opportunity to catch up with friends, renew old acquaintances and enjoy time with fellow enthusiasts from across the classic motoring community. Whilst there will undoubtedly be plenty of fascinating vehicles on display, for many the real attraction lies in the people, the conversations and the shared passion that brings everyone together.
From discovering a long-forgotten favourite to hearing stories from fellow owners, every visit offers something a little different. It is also a reminder that our shared passion is about far more than the vehicles themselves. The friendships formed, knowledge shared and memories created are just as important as the cars we cherish.
If you’re attending, keep an eye out for familiar Doghouse faces. We’d love to hear about your highlights and see your photographs for future editions of The Doghouse news.
After all, whilst the cars may bring us together, it is the people who keep the community alive.
